Land Rover SWB Series 2a 1969 Tax Exempt in Southport, Merseyside for sale

This is a unique opportunity to acquire a 1969 H reg Tax Exempt SWB Series 2a Land Rover on a galvanised chassis, (chassis, new old stock) complete with a current type V5 ( sorned ) The 2a's are fast appreciating and represent great value for money, restored examples can go for considerable sums. This uncompleted project purchased by me some time ago is largely complete and would make an easy project for someone to finish. A previous owner had purchased a galvanised chassis and started to rebuild the vehicle with new springs ( they still have the labels on them ) and shocks. It is fitted with a 2.25 Land Rover Diesel engine and the normal Series gearbox, prop shafts and axles. The rear body tub has been placed on the chassis but needs fixing, the front wings are loosely attached. Items included in the sale are: A set of hood sticks, Windscreen Assy attached to bulkhead, ( the drivers windscreen is broken on the one fitted to the vehicle ) A spare windscreen which has two glasses 2 front wings attached to chassis A bonnet Bulkhead and footwell Assy attached to the chassis ( footwells look like they have been replaced ) Rear body tub loosely attached to the chassis.
